Take a seat in the Devils armchair and peer over the falls, surrounded by the spray and the roar of Mosi-oa-Tunya, “the smoke that thunders”. To reach Devils Pool (only accessible from August to January from Livingstone Island), you need to swim a short distance across the Zambezi River – don’t worry, there are guides to see you get across safely.
