Amazing vacation. It started from the airport, where the hotel representative took care of everything for us. Our amazing host Hanoof made our stay at the hotel completely carefree. The food and drinks at the hotel are wonderful. Two à la carte restaurants, one buffet. The hotel has a private reef with amazing marine life. Snorkeling equipment is provided completely free of charge. There are many activities from jet skis to snorkeling trips with manta rays. The atmosphere of the small green island is very relaxed, giving the impression that it belongs only to you. There is a kids club, a teen club, and they organize football matches. We will definitely come back to this paradise!

We spent our honeymoon at the Avani+ Fares Maldives and could hardly have imagined a more beautiful place for it. From the first to the last minute, we felt completely comfortable and were able to enjoy our honeymoon trip to the fullest. Upon our arrival, we were already welcomed incredibly warmly by our Island Host Inex. He took excellent care of us from the very beginning and ensured that we felt welcome immediately. Although we did not receive a room upgrade, we were instead chosen a beautiful beachfront villa on the side of the island that was perfect for us. It was especially nice that care was also taken to ensure that the surrounding villas were as unoccupied as possible. This allowed us to enjoy our honeymoon in a wonderfully quiet and private atmosphere. For us, that was ultimately much more valuable than an upgrade! The resort also completely convinced us in terms of cuisine. The food was outstanding, both in the buffet restaurant and in the à la carte restaurants. The quality, the selection, and the service impressed us throughout. An absolute highlight is the fantastic house reef! The underwater world around the island is truly impressive and offers an incredible variety of fish. For us, snorkeling there was a new experience every single time. We can especially recommend the area at the level of the Smugglers Shak. We were able to regularly observe blacktip reef sharks there – a wonderful experience to see these fascinating animals in their natural environment. However, we would like to critically note one point in this context: Unfortunately, we had to observe several times how some families brought bread to the jetty in the evening to feed fish and even sharks with it. Such behavior is, from our point of view, absolutely incomprehensible and harms the sensitive ecosystem. We would like to highlight positively that the hotel fundamentally prohibits this behavior. Unfortunately, however, this sometimes only happens when feeding has already taken place. Here we would wish that intervention would be even more consistent and earlier, so that this beautiful underwater world remains protected in the long term. Another highlight was our couples massage at the spa. We were able to relax wonderfully and really enjoyed our time together. We found it especially attentive that our sunburn was even perfectly treated at the end of the treatment. Here, too, it was shown once again how extraordinary the service at this resort is. The staff recognized our needs and addressed them quite naturally, without us having to say anything at all. We were also particularly impressed by the organization of our return trip. For our arrival, we had decided on a domestic flight followed by a speedboat transfer. For the return trip, however, we wanted to switch to a seaplane, as we had to be in Malé as early as possible. Inex took care of the entire rebooking and organization, so we did not have to take care of anything ourselves. Although we ended up arriving at the airport in Malé quite late, the hotel team did everything possible to ensure that our schedule still worked out. The staff took excellent care of us and ensured that everything worked smoothly. Especially in such a situation, you realize how valuable a committed and reliable team is. We would also like to express our explicit thanks for that! We would especially like to highlight the entire staff. Rarely have we experienced so many warm, attentive, and courteous people. Regardless of whether in the restaurant, at the bar, in housekeeping, in the spa, or at the reception – everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. You really never had the feeling of asking one question too many or bothering anyone with a request. The friendliness always seemed honest and warm, never put on. The beautiful island, the turquoise sea, and the relaxed atmosphere were the perfect backdrop for our honeymoon. We were able to wonderfully switch off, enjoy our time together, and collect many unforgettable memories. Our conclusion: The Avani+ Fares is not just a dreamily beautiful resort, but above all a place where hospitality is truly lived. It is especially the many small, attentive gestures that made this stay so special for us. A huge thank you to the entire team and especially to Inex, who, with his warm care, the great selection of our villa, and the excellent organization of our return trip, contributed a great deal to making our honeymoon so wonderful and unforgettable.
