Sustainability
At Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai, we’re taking practical steps to manage resources responsibly and reduce our environmental impact.
From solar-assisted hot water to cooking-oil recycling, these initiatives are part of our ongoing efforts to operate more thoughtfully.
Resource and Energy Management
Going Plastic Free
Plastic room keys have been replaced with wooden key cards, helping us reduce the use of plastic across the guest experience.
Green Practices
Avani Ibn Battuta complies with Dubai's environmental regulations and we have additionally installed an adiabatic cooling system in our chillers, estimated to reduce related emissions by 15%.
Responsible Recycling
EV Charging
We continue to explore practical ways to improve how we operate and make more thoughtful choices across the hotel.
Water Conservation
We are taking practical steps to use water responsibly and reduce water consumption across the hotel. Our solar plant provides 30% of the energy required for hot water generation, supporting more efficient use of energy and resources.
Aerators are installed across guest room and public area plumbing fixtures to help reduce water consumption. In addition, all guest room head showers and hand showers have been replaced with Blu water-efficient showerheads and hand showers, which can save approximately 33% of water during shower use.
Cameras are installed in all water plant rooms to enable continuous monitoring and help identify potential water leaks promptly, supporting our efforts to minimize water loss and improve water management.
