CONSERVATION

Energy Conservation

While ensuring that our guests are as comfy as possible, we minimise the use of electricity. For example, all of our lights are energy-efficient LED, and many of them use motion sensors. During the green season, only some wings are kept running so that we can turn off the power elsewhere.

Water Conservation

We treat and recycle water, using it to keep our gardens lovely and green. You can play a part by agreeing to having your bedding changed every other day, as well as reusing your towels. 
WASTE REDUCTION

Elimination of Single-Use Plastics

We’ve eliminated most single-use plastics at the resort. Water comes in refillable glass bottles. Straws are bamboo and lemongrass. And in your rooms, you’ll find refillable dispensers instead of small bottles of toiletries, and alternative materials such as wood and jute used for other amenities. 

Waste Management

We take great care in managing all our waste. It is sorted, with natural waste sent to the composter and used as fertiliser, cooking oil sent to produce bio-diesel, food waste used as animal feed, and reusable goods donated to those who can make use of them.
SOURCING

Local Suppliers

We’re proud to support family farms, with fresh produce sourced as locally as possible and wrapped in minimal packaging, meaning great flavours for you but with a smaller carbon footprint! We also source responsibly, with our eggs from cage-free hens for example. 
COMMUNITY

Dollars for Deeds

With every dollar donated by you, we’ll match it – with all funds going to our partners. We support the Angkor Hospital for Children, as well as the Siem Reap Bird Sanctuary, with funds going to the rescue of injured creatures and their eventual return to the wild.  

CSR

We work closely with the local community, donating goods, time and money to worthy causes. Our CSR activities include blood drives, fundraising marathons and tree planting.
