Important Update on eGift System Transition
Dear Valued Guests,We at Minor Hotels wish to notify you of an ongoing transition in our eGift system provider. Currently, our existing eGift portal is temporarily unavailable, which may affect those who have purchased eGift cards or eGift certificates through egiftcard.minorhotels.com, egiftcard.anantara.com and egiftcard.avanihotels.com, hindering the ability to access and redeem them online.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Should you have any queries or require assistance regarding your eGift card or eGift certificate, please do not hesitate to contact our reservation team at [email protected].
Kind regards,
The Minor Hotels Team
Where can I use my eGift Card?
Unless otherwise specified, eGift Cards are welcomed at participating Minor Hotels properties in Asia, Africa and the Middle East under the Anantara, Avani, Oaks, NH Hotels, NH Collection and Tivoli brands. (Notable exceptions are Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas and Naladhu Private Island Maldives, where eGift Cards cannot be used in conjunction with promotional rates.) Please click here to see the participating hotels and resorts. Should you require any assistance or have questions regarding your eGift Card, please contact our reservation team at [email protected].
Do I have to be a hotel guest to use/redeem an eGift Card?
eGift Cards may be redeemed by walk-in guests not staying in-house for hotel experiences in eligible participating outlets including select restaurants and spas. Only the specified recipient can use the eGift Card. Valid photo identification is required when redeeming the voucher at the participating hotel or resort.
What can an eGift Card be used for?
eGift Cards can be used for accommodation charges, spa services and dining at participating hotels and resorts. Conditions may apply. Please check with participating hotels or resorts for specific details, and inform one of our associates upon check in, or on arrival at the restaurant, bar or spa that you wish to use an eGift Card.
How can I redeem an eGift Card?
eGift Cards are non-transferable and can be redeemed by the recipient indicated on the eGift Card at the time of purchase by presenting an email print-out or a snapshot of the voucher, together with an official form of identification at the eGift Card redemption counter of any participating property.
Are there any restrictions on when I can redeem my eGift Card?
When redeeming an eGift Card on accommodation, advance booking is required and is subject to the hotel’s availability, specific room category availability and blackout periods (including school and public holidays).
Can an eGift Card be used as a deposit or to guarantee a reservation?
eGift Cards can be used as guarantees and/or deposits for confirming room reservations booked in advance by our reservation team. In such circumstances, the card will be frozen while the reservation is being held. Should a cancellation or no-show fee be incurred, the full value of the eGift Card will be charged.
What are the conditions of eGift Card redemption?
eGift Cards have no value unless they are redeemed, are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The full value of the card must be used in a single transaction. Any remaining balance is forfeited and cannot be carried over or refunded. The expiration date of the card is 12 months from the date of purchase, with specific validity information printed on each eGift Card. Unfortunately, once an eGift Card has expired, its validity period cannot be extended under any circumstances.
What currency and denominations are eGift Cards available in?
eGift Cards are available in both US dollars and Thai baht, depending on which currency is selected at the time of purchase. The eGift Cards can be purchased from USD 50 to USD 5,000 and THB 500 to THB 150,000. Any redemption made at a hotel or resort in a different currency than that noted on the eGift Card will be converted into the local currency at the hotel’s official exchange rate of the day.
Can eGift Cards be combined with other payments?
eGift Cards may be combined with other forms of payment. Changes in excess of the eGift Card’s stored value may be settled with cash or major credit cards accepted at the participating hotels, resorts or restaurants.
What do I do if I lose my eGift Card?
Minor Hotels and its participating hotels and resorts are not responsible for lost or stolen eGift cards. Following proper reporting of a lost or stolen card, the existing eGift Card will be frozen, and a replacement card will be issued for that amount. Please contact our reservation team at [email protected] with your identification and purchased eGift Card information, and we will assist in reissuing you a new eGift Card.
