Christmas carols by the lagoon? Gala dinners under tropical stars? At Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort, the festive season gets an island makeover that's anything but ordinary. From 20 December 2025 – 7 January 2026, we're blending holiday traditions with authentic Maldivian culture for a celebration that's uniquely magical.
Every Maldivian island has a tale to tell, and we're sharing them all. Dive into our vibrant Fares Baa'zaar, a bustling island souk where street food sizzles, local crafts catch your eye, and traditional Bodu Beru drums set the rhythm. The Bodu Mas Night seafood BBQ takes beachside dining seriously – four courses of the day's fresh catch, grilled over coconut husks in true island style.
Families can craft Dhoni models together, building miniature versions of traditional sailing boats. Kids will love the pirate-themed lagoon cruises and tropical mocktail classes, whilst Jack Sparrow movie nights under the stars complete with tropical treats make bedtime something to look forward to.
Adults get their own playground at Smugglers Shack, home to one of the Maldives' largest rum collections. RRR Night brings together Rum, Ribs & Reggae for the ultimate grown-up island vibe.
