Avani Rio Novo Venice hosts ‘Serenissima’, where the dialogue between nature and the female body takes centre stage, proposing a profound reflection on the intrinsic link between the vital force of the natural elements and the energy, grace and complexity of the female body. Curated by Cris Contini Contemporary, the exhibition will open to the public on 14 May 2025.

GIRLS – Capturing the Invisible

Thanks to the enthralling three-dimensionality of the lenticular photographs, the viewer is immersed in a fascinating dialogue between memory and the vibrant energy of modernity, between the historic architecture of Venice and Treviso. The images give a poetic representation of urban beauty, revealing the complex interaction between past and present, in a bridge between cultures and times.

NEW EDEN

Lenticular 3D images breathe new life into the still life genre in an immersive visual experience where the art of the present dialogues with the formal aesthetics of distant eras. The compositions tell stories of identity, taste and territory, inviting the viewer to explore the roots and transformations of Italian tradition through a contemporary lens.

RORSCACH FLOWER

The flowers fill the frame by bursting out of it, resulting in beautiful and haunting art. Looking long enough we are drawn into a vortex, enraptured in a fantasy world of colour and beauty. Contemplating a world that is closed but limitless, coherent but unfathomable, Robb delivers us only a flower, open, however, to the world of our imagination.

SCULTURE AFFINITY

The human figure is reduced to its fundamental and vital forms, to what is necessary and rooted. How the series is perceived depends on its placement and the angles from which it is viewed, creating endless possibilities. While reflecting the viewer's point of view, the experiential nature of the work emerges, leaving an ever-changing impression.
