MUKUNI BOMA MENU

MUKUNI BOMA CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

Designed to bring visitors and locals together, a boma dinner at Avani Victoria Falls Resort is an excellent opportunity for guests to join fellow adventurers and recount the day's amazing wildlife sightings over an alfresco dining experience at the resort’s Mukuni Boma restaurant where beautiful Zambian rituals are performed on the banks of the majestic Zambezi River.

Guests take their seats in a serene setting evoking a Zambian village, they are served a welcome drink of a local brew that prepares the palate for what’s to follow: a delectable four-course menu of Pan African staples and game meat grilled over coals.

Illuminated by lanterns, candles and a fire pit, the enchanting scene provides a backdrop for a night of traditional storytelling, bush songs and dance performed to the beat of a drum by traditional singers, djembe drummers and expert Ngoni dancers who add even more colour to the night with their vibrant and energetic numbers. The engaging and welcoming atmosphere means guests can fully take part in the evening’s festivities by joining the dance and beating the drums to get into the rhythm of the night.
