Tribe Talks with Kacie Rose
In our second Avani Tribes interview, we’re speaking to Kacie Rose, a vibrant American travel content creator living in Florence, Italy. After a transformative solo trip and her own 'Under the Tuscan Sun' moment, she made Italy her home. She is known for her New York Times bestseller, You Deserve Good Gelato, a feel-good memoir about her move abroad and celebrating the beauty of cultural differences, including through food.
As part of the Foodie tribe, Kacie brings her passion for diverse cuisines to Avani+ Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites. From indulging in local flavours to exploring Dubai’s vibrant scene, Kacie’s journey beautifully blends her love of food and travel.

As part of the Foodie tribe, what specific activity or feature at Avani+ Palm View Dubai stood out to you and why?
One of our favourite experiences was dining at the on-site, award-winning Lebanese restaurant, La Sirène.
The food was absolutely incredible, the staff were so warm, and it was the perfect first dinner!

What was the highlight of your stay at Avani+ Palm View Dubai? How did the hotel's unique offerings enhance your tribe experience?
There were so many highlights of our stay at the hotel – not only was it absolutely gorgeous and in a fantastic location, which made it easy to visit other parts of the city, but the staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay incredible.
The hospitality and warmth we received from quite literally everyone made the experience so special.

Do you have a memorable photo from your trip that you'd like to share? What’s the story behind it, and how does it reflect your experience as a Foodie?
On the last night of the trip, for our final dinner, Avani set up an in-room culinary experience, where we got to watch and learn from the local chefs how to make lamb chops seasoned with local herbs and spices!
Afterwards, we enjoyed dinner in the comfort of our room with an amazing view over the sea and the Palm Dubai. It was a wonderful farewell dinner to wrap up a memorable trip.
