Jesica has always been into fitness and soon realised Saenchai, one of the living legends in Muay Thai, was one of her biggest idols and decided to follow his path. She has now been in the industry with an impressive five years of experience and is a pioneer of Muay Thai training in Bali. She also draws excellent inspiration by overcoming whatever life throws her way and surviving those vast obstacles. A big motivation for Jesica is to keep healthy and lead by example in a very active lifestyle. Her training style focuses on getting the techniques right and personalised to each individual because everybody is unique. She is constantly pushing herself and her students' boundaries and loves seeing the results from this.
Q: What draws you to Muay Thai?
Jesica: What draws me into Muay Thai is not just because I love everything about combat sports, yet the culture and history behind it.
Thai culture is unique and steeped in rich tradition, and it has things with many different techniques from other combat sports.
Gotta admit it's amazing and interesting; therefore, I'm so proud to become a Muay Thai trainer. Truly an honour that I can share my knowledge about Muay Thai with many people out there.
Q: With all these pandemic situations, what's your tip for staying fit?
Jesica: Eat well, follow a healthy and balanced diet, do more exercise, and, of course, don't forget to maintain your stress level. Those are the three essentials for surviving in this situation.
Q: Three things you can't live without?
Jesica: Internet, meat, and shopping centres.
Q: Where would you go when travel resumes?
Jesica: First things first, I want to go to Thailand to train Muay Thai. Secondly, Dubai would be my second destination on the list because I'm also passionate about architecture and buildings.
